Safety & AI

The number-one question parents ask about an AI tutor is 'what is it saying to my kid?' With AiR, the answer is simple: you see all of it, and you stay in charge.

You see every conversation

Every message your child exchanges with AiR is visible to you. There are no hidden chats and no private channel between AiR and your child. AiR is your co-pilot — you’re still flying the plane.

AiR never acts on its own

AiR only responds inside a lesson or chat you can see. It doesn’t message your child on its own, doesn’t take actions in the background, and doesn’t do anything you can’t review.

Tutoring stays on-topic and age-appropriate

AiR is built to teach. Its responses are shaped by education-focused guardrails and grounded in your child’s grade level and the standards for the lesson, so it stays on the subject at hand and speaks to kids in an encouraging, age-appropriate way.

We’re honest: AI isn’t perfect

AI can occasionally get something wrong or make something up. We don’t hide that. AiR is a tutor and a helper, not an infallible authority — and because you see every conversation, you can catch and correct anything that looks off. Teaching your child to double-check and think critically is part of the point.

What powers AiR

AiR is powered by xAI’s Grok API, with our own education-specific guardrails, standards grounding, and parent visibility built on top. We chose the underlying model for its capability; the safety, focus, and transparency around it are ours.

Your data stays yours

We don’t sell your data, we don’t show ads, and we don’t use your child’s conversations to train AI models. See our Privacy Policy and Children’s Privacy page for the details.
