Privacy Policy

Who this covers

This policy applies to AiR Homeschool (airhomeschool.com) and the accounts parents and guardians create for themselves and their children. A parent or guardian creates and controls the account; children use AiR only through a profile set up by that adult. For details specific to children, see our Children’s Privacy page.

What we collect

• Account information — your name and email, handled through our authentication provider when you sign up.
• Child profiles — the first name, grade, and age you enter for each child. You choose what to provide.
• Learning activity — lessons, chat conversations, quizzes, portfolio entries, and any homework or photos you upload, so AiR can tutor, track standards, and build your portfolio.
• Usage data — basic counts like images generated or voice minutes used, to apply your plan’s limits.
• Payment information — handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store your card number.

How we use it

We use your information to run AiR: to provide tutoring, track which standards each child has covered, keep your portfolio, apply your subscription, and improve the product. We do not use your data to show you advertising.

AI processing

AiR’s tutoring runs on an AI provider (xAI’s Grok API). To generate a response, the relevant conversation text is sent to that provider’s API and processed under its terms. We do not sell your conversations, and we do not use your child’s conversations to train AI models.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that make AiR work — such as authentication, database and file storage, payments, and our AI provider — and only as needed to run the service. We may disclose information if required by law.

Your choices and controls

• You can see every message your child exchanges with AiR.
• You can export your portfolio as a PDF at any time.
• You can request that we delete your account and associated data by emailing support@airhomeschool.com.

Data retention

We keep your information while your account is active so your lessons and portfolio stay available. If you delete your account or ask us to remove your data, we delete it from our active systems, except where we must keep limited records to meet legal or accounting obligations.

Security

We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your data. No online service can promise perfect security, but we work to keep your family’s information safe.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as AiR evolves. We’ll post the new version here and update the date above.
